We’re also introducing a new device, the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor, which launches in early September for a suggested retail price of $24.99 ($29.99 CAD). This adaptor will let you connect a DualShock 4 to PC and Mac wirelessly, and will enable every feature of the controller you know and love: buttons, analog sticks, touch pad, light bar, motion sensors, vibration, and stereo headset jack – as long as the gaming application supports these features.

The adaptor is a great match for playing PS Now on a computer, but you can also use it for PS4 Remote Play on PC and Mac. If you haven’t yet downloaded Remote Play on your PC or Mac, grab the installer here. Of course, owning the USB Wireless Adaptor isn’t required, as you can connect a DualShock 4 using a USB cable.

Here are the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC:
Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
Sound card; USB port

A minimum 5Mbps connection is required to use PS Now on any device. We recommend a wired Internet connection for the optimal experience.
We’ll be in touch to confirm the exact launch date of the PlayStation Now Windows PC app in North America, and stay tuned for some exciting games that will be added to the library.
For more info on PS Now, including the full library of games, visit: PSNow.com.

the real reason behind this is to force the wireless connection for ps now and ps remote play on pc to the overprived bt dongle. nothing else. the controller itself works wireless since ages with almost every 3 bucks bt dongle

It works when it works. The thing is without publisher's support the result will vary a lot depending on the game. Eg. Dark Souls II still seems to be pain in the ass with DSs on PC.

just use xinput emulator for that stuff? worked always (only use my ds2 for fighting games with an adapter which directly emulates it as 360 device; never really used my ds4 wireless cause the runtime is just too bad, but i used a bt dongle with the ds3 and xinput emulation stuff; not for me but a friend insisted to play with his crappy ds3 against me, no problems using that thing as x360 device either). and the "official" overpriced bt-dongle will change nothing in pc games (if there are controller presets for the buttons etc -> its xbox style) and overall sony has no chance to replace the xbox controller as #1 controller on windows

PS4 games coming to PlayStation Now in 2017

PlayStation 4 games are coming to PlayStation Now in 2017, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.

All of the games in the PlayStation Now service, including both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 games, will be included with a single PlayStation Now subscription.

Private testing of PlayStation 4 games with PlayStation Now will begin in the next few weeks. If you’re a PlayStation Now subscriber, you may get an invitation in your e-mail.

Specific PlayStation 4 titles joining the service were not announced. Some of the service’s most popular PlayStation 3 titles during the month of February include Red Dead Redemption, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, The Last of Us, Mafia II, and more.

PlayStation Now is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC

This is the streaming service that Sony bought a few years ago, right? As I recall, it wasn't terrible.

Yeah, it works with VPN. I tried it couple months ago for RDR. It works, but have to use a controller. Sad

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I tested their free trial last year. Loading games was quite slow, but the service worked very well once they started. Visual quality was better than I expected from a streaming service. I was worried that rapid movements would be blurry or pixelated, but over here the connection remained solid and everything looked ok. Not AMAZING, but for a streamed game, it was ok. I played with a 360 controller, so at least the service is compatible with more than just Sony controllers.

The big issue is the price. The price is shit. The monthly cost is acceptable when buying their 1 year subscription, but incredibly overpriced when using the monthly subscription. And buying a 1 year subscription to a service like this is really only worth it if there's a crapton of games someone is interested in. The price greatly reduces how many people this service is for.

A side issue will likely be latency for people playing from far away, especially if using a VPN in countries that are not currently serviced by PSNow.

That's exactly *the* giant problem for me. Even if this service was available here (which is not), even if it was uber-cheap (which is not) and even if I didn't have a puny 4Mbit ([cursing intensifies]), the game, or any other one that isn't a platforming/sports/driving title, would still be unenjoyable/unplayable for me.
Hell, I could have just borrowed my friends' 360 and played it right there years ago, but alas, no mouse aiming freedom and the constraints of the gamepad are obstacles that I just can't overcome, and believe me I've tried. Damn you Rockstar, damn you to hell Okay

This one the only one that was not bad. They used to have Crysis 2 as a demo, and it was more playable on Gaikai than on my PS3. Laughing

It works pretty well. The image quality is pretty good, the lag is minimal, if at all noticeable. Not worse than innate mouse lag we get in many PC games. I did test it through VPN for a while. It's a solid way to play through some exclusives from previous gen. Too pricey though Sad And you really need a fast and stable connection, but that much should be obvious.

I got the trail and playing God of War 3 right now. The service is really good Smile not using a VPN, which is strange considering that Poland is not officially supported... yet..

Beat Ni No Kuni on it. (what a disappointing lackluster game) The service itself, is well.. It's okay I suppose lag is minimal, quality is okay for streaming I guess. Its like taking graphics settings all the way on low, you get used too it. Audio is surprisingly very good stereo. Not sure if it was worth the the monthly price though.

PC Specs: A Maganavox' Odyssey
Tweaked to play Frogger, Lemmings & GTA4

Obviously you guys get to play these great games on PC and that s the only way to play them on PC but trust me you are missing a few stuff compared to the real deal on PS3 : graphics are a little blurrier but the most PITA are the controls : input lag is noticeable compared to the real thing.

Honestly it's a lot more worth to pay yourself a CFW PS3 and you get to play all these games for free and offline... better deal if you ask me. You will see the difference its day and night. Specially the last of us which is already sub 720p sub 20 fps on PS3 with laggy controls, it's shittier on PsNow.

This actually started in Germoney end of last year as i noticed now, gave it a try this weekend with the trial and was really positively surprised might be my connection (VDSL 50) or the fact that the German servers work pretty well (and i'm probably pretty close since almost all of these service servers are in Frankfurt) but there is no noticeable input lag or image quality loss i can see it's like magic even fast paced games work very well, would still not subscribe but a 7 day trial is more then enough for the 1 or 2 games i'm interested in and i can always make more accounts Laughing

Not surprised really, I've been in the beta for Geforce Now for a while and as far as I know the servers are in Germoney. It all works fine, though I really can't see the use of it... you have to own the games so in the end it's just running the games at a higher spec if you don't have a beastly machine.

PS Now seems more worth it to me in the long run, no need to buy the games and you'll have some exclusives to go through. If they can deliver the same performance as GF Now that is.
