So Much Win

The story is told linearly, but set within an open-world environment. There is a heavy emphasis on exploration and navigation within the 3 massive ocean "hub" areas. You are free to travel anywhere in the ocean in search of new harbors and treasure, as long as you can survive the dangers you encounter!

Looks cool. Very Happy

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Damn, it does look interesting from the trailers. Some of the claims sound..very optimistic, but surely has the potential to be a little gem of the gaming seas. I'll keep it under my radars, literally Very Happy

Was hoping for a more open-ended, space-sim style approach but oh well, still looking forward to it.

I tried... but nope I really can't get over the camera position. As to the rest, too little time spend to comment on it. Was just too busy being annoyed.

Edit: Well let's try anyway, Sound/Music is nice, the visual style works, controls are a bit awkward at first but it works after getting used of them, combat was pretty simplistic (It was just the beginning area so don't this as the entire game being like that).
Management/resource bit of the sub is what you'd expect from those type of games, what I experienced they didn't go overboard with it.

Settings are clunky/bugged, half the time it reverts back to original settings. Certain settings don't work together when you want to apply them. Seen that in quite a few Unity games though. Performance was okay, didn't encounter massive frame drops.

Music and gameplay from the above trailer remind me very much of a Rebel Galaxy under water. Very Happy

The playtime seems a bit short indeed tough. Let's see how the open-world aspect is done.
Also Phill fighting against the Steamderps in the posted thread. Cool Face

Yup..It looks like it....

I'm not buying it(that is if I like it) until they patch in manual saving.A shame, really.. The game looks interesting and the price is pretty good.

Its fun, albeit a big bugged. But it has a great underwater feel to it and the combat aint bad when you get the hang of it..but well its a shame how this could have been soo much more, with a proper campaign map, subcrew management and real role play elements, and less cartooney.. would be a fantastic game. Sad
