I have a few questions... I no longer want to use them anymore with my own IP (even though I've been doing it for a decade or so without issues).

I've got a VPN sorted and it works quite well, but the issue is having it on the same PC as Steam and the amount of bullshit associated with having a location that changes, especially when I'm purchasing things.

Yesterday I set it up on my laptop to be used 100% of the time, but it's not very practical for me.

My next option is to install a VM, give it very little resources and have it running all the time with the VPN running inside it.

What do you do, or what do you suggest?

I've also used newgroups/rapidshare/WBB and everything else in the past, not really interested in going back to any of them as torrents seem to be the easiest.
