I asked a similar question regarding the funding some time back then.
As long as the project doesn't get funded, no money gets transfered. So the backers don't lose anything at all.

What the fuck are you talking about, hire some belarussian programmer to make a Unity shit, buy some Unity assets, get someone on fiverrr to create an OST, release it as early alpha, then make a kickstarter for an Android release.
