I've stumbled across an article about wireless headphones, like B&O H5 - http://airows.com/gear/bang-olufsen-wireless-h5-headphones

Question is, a wireless connection is capable of maintaining a stable quality?

Sure.

No need for that overpriced shit though.

I have some 15€ bluetooth ones, and they give a stable connection for ~5m.
Sound is clear too and has nice bass. Only the flat and a bit too stiff cable could be better. It sometimes sticks at the neck when you turn your head.

what for?
bluetooth is probably the way to go if you want perfect sound and a bit of latency is not an issue

but note that bluetooth has latency, and thus are unusable for virtual reality use
we have these at the office for VR use and they're both decent to over 20m

Unless you wanna get iritated by the sound of turbulance, don't get on-ear headphones, you'll need in-ears to seal it out. It sounds like a moronic idea to rid yourself from the sounds of your surroundings anyway while on a bike...

bluetooth and perfect go together like oil and water Laughing

BT compresses before sending.

stable connection, if i got what u mean, is not the problem. the sound quality is not as good as wired headphones have.
