Hey guys,

I'm looking for a new mouse pad. I'm using a QPAD CT for years now. I got one at the GamesCom years ago. It's very smooth and not much friction with the mouse, at least it used to be. I'm actually looking for a mousepad with the least friction possible. Some say go with glass, aluminium or just plastic hard top. I don't want a cloth one. I've had a Steelseries QcK and it's terrible. But I don't know what to buy Sad

still using a speedpad, dunno how old that is. atleast 12 years. tried one of these Steelseries QcK at friend, its awful. and i dont need that biiiiiiiig mousepads (dunno if you need that much space for playing gay mobas online; cant think anybody would need it for shooters; and for normal work stuff -> i dont need even half of the space of my speedpad).

hope i never need a new one cause the speedpads dont exist anymore ^^ cleaning once a year and spraying new silicon on it is enough to make i feel like on the first day.

many people even use their normal desk without any mousepad, but that destroys the desk over a few years

I've been using my desk for 10 years, it isn't destroyed. Why would a mouse destroy a desk Confused

I'll join your question Aeon. Very Happy

I'm using a Razer Goliathus pad with a G700s mouse. While the pad after 4 years still looks very good, i have problems with doing minimal movements with that combo anymore. Especially noticeable in online shooters.

I'm enjoying my Mionix Krater 320 quite a lot, no friction whatsoever.

Mionix Alioth might be worth considering.

I was at a store today that had a G440 and the surface felt good, but I couldn't test it because I had no mouse with me Razz

Yeah, that's what I'm noticing too. In general the mouse pad I have now is fine, but it's those minimal moves that are not good anymore. Already changed the feet of the mouse, now the pad Smile

QcK+ for me.

I do need the space, because I move my arm rather than just my wrist. And cloth feels much nicer than any synthetic material.

i was thinking of the OVERWATCH Razer Goliathus thingy but it's more taller than my Logitech mousepad along with hard borders. Might make myself uncomfortable.

Also toxic smell from the box...

I've been on the Razer Manticor aluminium mousemat for 4 years now, and while I was happy at first, there now seems to be some residue where my mouse mostly sits. And then the mouse slightly sticks to that... It's probably from my greasy filthy sweaty manhands, I get that on the mouse too. Tried cleaning it off the pad, but it came back after a couple of weeks.

Never had that with a cloth mousepad, I'll switch back to one I guess... so keep your recommendations coming Smile

Well, in the end I bought a second hand Icemat. It's from glass and it's definitely the smoothest mousepad I ever had. Only paid 10 Euro's for it, while back in the days they were 50 Euro. But they don't make them anymore. Very happy with it Smile

I bought the Razer Goliathus Control back in January '15 and I've noticed the same issue.

Good thing I also have a QCK+ Very Happy

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
