|
 |
Hi,
is there a service like some kind of RSS or email notification of custom Apps for iOS and Android where you could subscribe to your favorite TV Series and get notified when a new episode is out?
Right now I am using "Next Episodes" App on my iPhone or I just look at my Sickbeard or simply look the dates up online on Webservices such as http://www.airdates.tv/ and co.
BUT!
My question is simply whether there is another way to be actually notified as supposed to thinking about it periodically and looking it up manually.
Is there any such thing already? If so, what is it and where can I find it?
"There will be no end to the troubles of humanity, until philosophers become kings, or kings become philosophers.", Plato.
"Hyperbole will destroy us all.", Matt Dillahunty.
"The hyperbole, the demonization of the other opinion and the unwillingness to even read the opposing opinion destroys the so important political discussions necessary for the well functioning of society.", Couleur

Trakt. Quite a lot of apps for it on all platforms, I use SeriesGuide on Android and Trakter on Win 10. You can also use SeriesGuide without Trakt, but I find the sync useful.

I use TVShow Time app on Android, which drops a notification every time a new episode is out. Fantastic app to track every TV show for me.

TVShow Time (Android) works well for me. Nice overview of all shows you are watching with weekly schedule, information on shows in hiatus/canceled/returning/ended, ratings and notifications.

I personally use Sonarr with Pushover notifications enabled, so that I get heads up whenever a new episode has been successfully downloaded. The same is possible with Sickbeard I believe.
