|
 |
Created my own Pro image this way, and it works great.
Tools needed:
1. 15 mins of your time
2. The MSMG Toolkit - Grab here ---> http://www49.zippyshare.com/v/xs0Gb2Ny/file.html
3. A Windows 10 image of your flavour.
Download the toolkit and extract to any drive you wish, but make sure it resides in the root of that drive, else you will get errors when using.
Should be like this -> x:\Toolkit
Copy your Windows image file to the DVD folder that resides within the tookit directory. Right click the image and extract here.
You should end up with this:
Right click the Toolkit's .cmd file and run it as Administrator, accepting the agreement.
Mount the source files by selecting option 1:
Select source files from DVD folder we extracted to earlier by selecting option 1:
Select Wim image you wish to work with (there may only be one depending on version you have, as is below) So I select 1 to work with Pro version:
Let it mount image and check there are no error messages when doing so. Scroll up to look for these, if all OK, press enter to continue.
Select option 4 - Remove:
Select option 1 - Remove default metro apps:
Take your pick. You can choose to remove individually, in which case, you will have to repeat option 4 & 1 each time a component is removed to get back to this screen, or you can just remove the lot:
Back at option screen again, select option 4 - Remove, then option 2 - Remove Default Metro Apps Association:
Let it do its thing.
Back at option screen again, select option 4 - Remove, then option 3 - Remove Windows Components:
Agree to the warning:
Again you have the choice, individual removal, or the lot:
Once done, select option 4 - Remove, then option 3 - Remove Windows Components again, then option 2 - Advanced Windows Components:
Again, take your pick.
All done, so lets finish up.
Back at main menu, select option 6 - Apply:
Then option 1 - Apply Changes to Source WIM Images:
Let it do its thing.
Back at main menu, select option 7 - Target:
Select option 1 - Make a DVD ISO Image:
And your done!! Bloat free Windows image.
Twitter and CandyCrush Metro Apps will still get installed, as they are downloaded automatically after installation, but you can just remove them by uninstalling after.

home and pro are identical, just the ei.cfg in the sources folder decides which version gets installed or if it is possible to choose which version you want to install
