Since other people have one, might as well make one with decent music too (or for once, depending on your stance).

Not sure if anyone here it into this sort of style: electronic/ambient, with no vocals (the important part), thats got a slow droning feel. Or any true ambient, no beats, stuff like Steve Roach, Jon Jenkins, etc.

Any recommendations are welcome also.

Not that Im against it, you could even listen to 3 hour dance mixes of cats howling while fucking if that's your thing Smile Lot of people cant stand my style so I dont have a lot of room to talk: long droning, no vocal or beats music I listen to all day while working.

Just Id have really nothing to add to your thread. Not my style of music. Sad

YES! I loved Neocron, I played it from beta3 to DoY (DoY ran me off..such a bad update/expansion).
But even now 15 years later, hearing any of that music on my spotify channel makes me think about standing in plaza 1 doing stuff Smile

im still waiting for a new mmorpg with this setting and atmosphere, but i guess it will never happen. ah well maybe i download the community version of neocron today just for the memories. just have to ignore the empty servers, bugs and shitty graphics Very Happy

Nice! Big fan of Biosphere, Steve Roach, BoC.. Here's some good ones from my youtube favorite-list:

My own stuff:

https://soundcloud.com/deathchy/monstrum
https://soundcloud.com/deathchy/skai

mainly just for testing new modules (modular synths), so in each track there's often a specific thing that i explore and its sometimes not really meant to be musical haha. I did a lot of ambient in the late 80's and 90's, recently started again (well, 2 years ago now).

OH nice, I never heard of some of them. need to look them up.

And Im the same, love making music, just hate finishing it...haha
I got a stienberg ci2 ASIO external soundcard, some nice studio monitors, korg keyboard/midi synth and some other things..And hardly use them for music anymore.
I love playing with it, been doing it for 10+ years, but never actually finish anything. I got TONS of 2 minute songs I 1/2 done..lol.

Yeah that's a common thing for many people who do music. I got tired of making music using software (what drove me away from doing music for 10 years), so i started building a large modular system instead + got myself a Moog Sub 37, an Analog Four, Nord Drum2 + some other stuff. Very happy with that setup, but took me around 2 years to fund it all.
