it would look bad for a movie, but for a series that's a pretty good trailer I think.
sure, the visual style is 100% ripped off from 300, but it looks entertaining.
I'll go grab the first episodes and see if it has more going for it than well copied 300-style fight scenes.

If it has a similar vibe to 'Rome' then I'll certainly enjoy it. There is always something appealing about a truly adult series, it adds a certain element of unpredictability.

300 was pretty stupid actually. I did like the visual style and combat, but that was, what, less than 2 hours? This will be 13 episodes? Frankly, 300 doesn't have anything to hold for 1 more hour. So unless story is good, the series is a crap. From what I saw in the trailer, it looks shite.

Saw both parts and i must say i really like it !!
Don't care that it looks like 300 and has a story like gladiator ... just love the hacking and slashing. Only thing i didnt really like is the extreme gore ... a bit overdone from time to time
