Looks a bit strange to have 2 of 3 games with "New ..." in the subtitle.
I would actually prefer a new Quake now. After we already got a Doom and some not so old Wolfensteins.

The poor Raven men no longer exist, they were enslaved and lobotomized, experiencing the worst punishment in gaming, and which makes Dante's inferno look like a valhalla: they'll be making Call of Duty DLCs for the eternity. 
The evil Bethempire with id, Machinegames and Arkane respectively is the only company at the moment capable of racking up enough talent to give us some proper-ish classic triple-A singleplayer shooters (along with 4A Games, who seem to have other priorities at the moment though).
They finally even have a solid engine now, after years spent killing computers all over the world with megatextures and dystopian taxing blurry techniques, but each new project is an incognita these days, a man can never know. These are dangerous times for single player games, bro-experiences are always lurking around the corner with derp-shaded glasses in a creepy manner, ready to activate the buttsecs mode to franchises when they least expect it.
