Hey guys, chiv mentioned it in the other thread... and as I really enjoyed Life I'd like to be reminded of other similar movies
Alien 1,2,3,4, The Thing + Remake, Sunshine, Event Horizon, ... any other I can't think of?
(Maybe even stuff like Eden Lake? You know..almost isolated )

Feast (only this one! forget the sequels!)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426459/
Infini (pretty recent and decent enough to watch)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3327624/
Altered (pretty uknown movie, I expected schlock but was pleasently surprised afterwards)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457275/

Well, it's imdb ratings. Anyways, I truly don't understand the ratings for "Feast" though. It's really awesome.

What's the point of looking at review scores of horror movies?

That's why i posted more than one.
You watch the movies that are on the same lists.
Which also contains some of the movie mentioned here.
like the descent... the UGHK version and not the UGHMERICA version.

antichrist - lars von trier film so it's artsy and psychological so opinions vary
hardware: mark 13 - basically the terminator inside a single apartment in a cyberpunk future
the beast (aka. the beast of war) - tank film in 80s afganistan
das boot (aka. u96)
apollo 13

I wish someone spoiled hostel 2 for me.
I'm all up for all kinds of horror and gore... just not genital mutilation.

I've seen everything online lists are meh. I love good b-grade films that fly under the radar, here's some here's some finely curated b-grade gold that fit the brief:
catacombs - 2007
exam - 2009
bug - 2007
creep - 2004
deep dark - 2015
mimic - 1997
the relic - 1997
uninhabited - 2010
frozen - 2010
howl - 2015
mignight meat train - 2008
Surviving Crooked Lake - 2009
perfect movies? no but entertaining, yes.

These two are not horror films but they still deal with isolation and shit especially the first one that is an ultimate isolation experience lol

+1 on The Divide
Very great movie, superbly explores animalistic side of man. Ignore the score for this one, it was downvoted into oblivion by sjw's, special snowflakes and power womun cause patriarchy
Movie is very bleak. Don't watch if you have some plans afterwards and need to remain in good spirit
