I bought a Playstation 3 a year or two ago when I got Playstation Plus for my Vita (since PS+ gave me so many great PS3 games for free every month it only seemed natural to buy a cheap €160 PS3 to enjoy them on). Of course, PS+ has turned to shit since Sony made it a "must have" for the PS4 and now we mostly get indie games instead of AAA titles.

But, with it being a two week school holiday and my nephew being over at my brother's house, I decided to dust it off and play a few games with him. Sadly enough, nearly all PS+ games I got, are single player (even Most Wanted which, in typical moronic EA fashion, has a complete idiotic lack of split screen racing).

So basically, can anyone help me find some good local co-op titles to play with my nephew?

Is that it ? Little Big Planet neither of us likes very much (I got three of them through PS+) and the Lego ones I already have on Wii. Fighting games we have several of (also thanks to PS+) but he sucks at them . Rayman Legends and army of two I'll check out though - thanks for the recommendations.

Do you guys like 3rd person shooters at all? What is the nephew's age?

I think Starhawk has some local co-op. It's like a survival mode if I remember correctly. You hold off against waves of enemies, and get to use the fun build shit tech the game is famous for.

I believe Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One has local co-op, up to 4?

I think you can do the vastly underrated Playstation All Stars as 2v2 battles. So if you're both on a team, it's like co-op? This game got ripped on but I think it's an awesome fighting game.

Dragons Crown is fun, but I believe it had the "ridiculous" art, not sure if he's old enough for that? Wink

I think Rayman Legends and Rayman Origins have good co-op, although you might have those on other systems.

And if you like FPS, I think Resistance 3 has a co-op mode. I think Resistance 2 does as well.

To continue FPS, I believe Killzone 2/3 both have co-op campaigns.

That's about all I can remember. Smile

Borderlands I'm not a big fan of - never enjoyed it much - and he's a bit too young for zombies - Dungeon Siege 3 might be worth giving a go though- thanks.

He's 9 so I prefer to avoid the very violent, graphical and creepy games but I think Killzone will be fine for him. Ratchet & Clank and Rayman sounds good though & Dragons Crown I already got through PS+ so might be worth a try Smile.
