Hello, not sure if this belong here or maybe on hardware zone?

Anyway got a new samsung 40 inch led and when connected via dvi to hdmi to PC.. When i watch a video on the led the the brightness changes during play.. I will upload pics later when i'm home. This is not happening when playing on monitor and also not happend on previous hd ready lcd. So logic say its from new tv?
I read that samsung tvs has some kind of auto dimming and not always can be turn off.. So wtf is that?
My model is h5303.
Any suggestions?

Oh btw its not happing during playing ps4 or watcing cables.

Thanks.

Also its not app related.. I tried both bsplayer and mkvplayer.
Edit: not mkvplayer but kmplayer.

Is the brightness constantly changing during playback?

The adapter-cable might have a loose connection.

Or some (eco-)setting in your new TVs setting. I would try to disable all or most of those "enhancing" or eco-settings.

I figured it out, it wasn't the eco options since they was off but it was something within dynamic mode that i was using. So after changing it to movie mode and entered options that was grey out when using dynamic mode i saw that dynamic contrast is off, maybe it was that but anyway now it's working good. Thanks again. When i get a new TV or have to adjust it for friends/family, i always disable most eco and enhancing features at first.

After that i disable the dynamic-picture mode and adjust the picture manually. In the best case you already have some of those images to calibrate the picture on a USB-stick.
