Been a while since I heard Gramatik. Discovered it rather late, was going to school in Antwerp (must have been 19/20) and had a classmate who was very much so in Hip Hop/Blues.
I was still DJ'ing back in the days so was mostly occupied with: Trance/Techno/Hardtrance/... so I had little time to put thought into/discover other genre's than the ones I would hear from family/friends. So asked him to compile a list with things I should absolutely listen to.
Forgot most of them sadly, but the ones that stood out for me: Gramatik and Jurrassic 5 and a bunch of sick Nigerian blues I forgot about.
