Playing it atm, not bad..I like it so far, but its something different. I don't like gfx that much, it's all washed out, characters look nice tho. Story, heh..it's a classic beginning for all mob games. After ~1h of play, I would give it 7.5..ofc, I need to see more and game needs to open up, the score will change for worse or better..we'll see, so far nothing amazing. And driving is so weird for me after playing GTA. You can clearly see how far ahead R is from competition in every aspect.
BTW I love the shooting and brutality in this game, so thats a plus..

Ive played about 3 hours and I cant fault the game. Im really enjoying it! The story is typical but great and the characters are engaging. I guess the game could look better visually but its more than good enough and gets the job done. No glitches or framerate issues so far. The soundtrack is also excellent but then I knew it would be!
Glad to hear the game is getting better, a bit disappointed to hear it's still only an 8 - that doesn't warrant a full price purchase for me... keen to see what all of the review sites give it though.
Hears to hoping BF1 / RoTR / Titanfall 2 / COD are better!

lol you dont know know me as much as you think! Ive sold and traded a lot of PS4 games in the last 12 months! I have a 360 but no retail originals as the DVD drive is flashed and I no longer have a PS3.
Noticed some small things when it rains in this game. Even tho the gfx are not amazing when it start to rain, who see wet spots at first on the street and then its completely wet. There are even dry spots under trees and such. Nice touch, never saw something like that before in a game. Game is overall fun so far..but I would still give it no more than 7 - 7.5.
Not sure I like the day weather cycle. There seems to be too much frequency of the sun going behind the clouds so its constantly going dark and then light during the day if I'm making any sense?! lol.
Also the mirrors in this game are THE worst mirrors I've seen in a game ever! Most of them do not reflect the player or anything in realitime. One I did find reflected Lincoln but it was a stationary reflection even when I wasn't stationary lol.
Found a video which was similar to my experience lol. Didn't even realise the rear view mirror in vehicles was so broken too!
Its approaching that too many games time of year again. Gonna see Gears 4 through before I return to Mafia 3. Those 2 games should keep me busy for the next couple of weeks until Battlefield 1!
Weighing in at 137MB, Mafia III update 1.03 is now live on PlayStation 4. Instead of sending out a full list of patch notes, developer Hangar 13 just said, “We just released a hotfix to improve stability on PS4. We’re working on more updates and will share details on them when we can.”
Asked when an Xbox One update will come out to fix the glitched side missions, Hangar 13 replied, “We’re working on updates for all platforms right now. We hope to share more soon to improve your experience in New Bordeaux.”
2K has now released a demo of the game, letting you dive in and play the game's first act to decide if it's for you. If you do then buy the game then your save file transfers over, meaning you don't have to replay anything of the game again.
Despite it not being that great this is a good idea. Be nice if it happened for other games too!
I guess it's happening because it bombed and they want to make more money. If they did this from day 1 then I'd agree, it's a nice gesture. But given the circumstances, this is clearly a money making ploy with no intended respect for customers.

the more I play it the more I don't know what to think about it..there are fun bits, but overall Im dissapointed.
