Ok, so I don't know where to post this, so I go with General. Hopefully one of you knows what causes this. I only use FB as pages, for companies. So when I click messages in the top bar, it opens the list of people I'm messaging with, but then click on a name it won't show up. It shows a loading icon for like a split-second, and nothing else. This is in BOTH Chrome and FF. Only way I can access messages as a page is the Messages tab, that is below the search field (button next to Page). But not the quick read/reply. If I select my personal profile (that I need to have in order to be able to run these pages), I can open messages sent to me, which automatically starts chat. So not Page messages Also, I can't view personal profiles when I'm set to use Facebook as a page. I could before! Only when set to Use as (My Name) I can view them. Otherwise it only loads the timeline image and photo. Anyone know if this can be fixed? Only thing I've tried is cleaning all cookies and cache. It doesn't work for me either, because the quick in-app aren't supposed to work with pages. Also, you can't view profiles either - logical explanation is that you have a personal account to manage pages so you can view profiles from your account, not the page you manage. I like cars

But why even have the top icons, that opens the messages I have, if they're not supposed to work? It clearly shows it trying to load the reply windows/chat history, but is canceled instantly.. It must be wrong, it worked a few weeks ago.

As did viewing profiles as a page, even though that makes more sense than the messaging-thing.

Haven't checked if the messages worked from the top bar icons in the past, but they do work from here (although i think you know that): As for profiles, I know that you can only view other pages, not personal profiles. Might be wrong tho.

I know what you mean. If you want to reply fast for customers ( maybe? ), you should install app on smartphone. If it's for you, to be more efficient, well, sorry I like cars

And what do you know, it's working again. So it was probably a bug on FBs side, cause I haven't done anything to fix it, and now I can use the button for chat/messages, and visit personal profiles as a page.
