I am familiar with the rules in the scene and fileformats, but I have never bothered to read up on Clonecd releases yet. So I was thinking to myself while reading some comments on this site, why isn't clonecd the standard, instead of using bin/cue with cracks?
What got me thinking of this was the fact that somebody said that when patches are released for a game and you got a Clonecd version, you don't need a new crack for it?
Can anybody with some insight on the Clonecd format and such releases tell me what is the downsides of Clonecd releases, compared to the regular bin/cue ones?
