A friend of mine got one of these as a gift, it had win 8 and he started the update to 10 but it was taking so long that he fell asleep. When he woke up the tablet had shut down because of low battery and the update was obviously interrupted. Now it shows both OSes but none are working and Restore also works on neither. Ideas?

Bonus question, how can he see his windows key?

Tell him tough shit and next time leave the power lead plugged in when doing updates. Very Happy

That is like updating an android phone with 5% battery life left.
