Does anyone use an app for this? If so what do you use, why is it good, any problems etc?
I tried "Hiya" and it just blocked my inbound calls.
True caller has mixed reviews anyone used it.
I guess all of them will want an account and access to all your data, location, blood-type, sexual preference etc.
hmm i reckon 1 a week, maybe 2, occasional international numbers don't pick up and robot calls wanting you to press "1". its annoying especially when expecting calls basically have to answer everything and deal with the shit.
You must get a lot of spam calls if you need a dedicated app for it. I get maybe one call every 2 weeks.
in EU this is heavily regulated... in Latin American it is paradise for scammers and local governments put all in place to have their nations spammed and scammed. you cannot imagine, I have a 2nd Colombian sim which I only keep active for local calls (not linked to whatsapp or signal), I get 10 scam calls a day. even the fucking provider Claro is abusing it to send me payment reminders by automated voice calls when my sim is part of a company contract paid monthly for all our sim cards (complete retarded provider). it pissed me off at first but had to start living with it. also the number of idiots dialing a wrong telephone number is above average in Latin America. hallelujah to regulation!!!! Thank god cigarettes are cheap to get through the daily frustrations! it is not only calls; they also sms bomb the shit out of you!
