Not bad, the production values seem solid at least.
I hope it's not another Stalingrad (the recent-ish one), which looked nifty in the trailer, but then the movie turned out to be a giant slow-mo with unnecessary trickeries to emulate the dark, derp side of Hollywood xD

And lets not forget the Russian dubbing which was all over the german parts. Was there ever a release without it?

Haha yep, it was so distracting...I have no idea if it ever got re-released. The full-English version was fine when it came to those parts, too bad the dubbing was abysmal, with voices that didn't fit the characters at all
Hmm..12+ rating... and it seems to be about Vladimir the Great and how he came into power.
Vladimir - the betrayer of Slavic people, who brought the evils of Orthodox Christianity into our lands and christened out ancestors ("rich, and poor, and beggars, and slaves" must come to the river on the following day, lest they risk becoming the "prince's enemies"")
Despite the fact that history was written by the victors who obviously wanted the books to show that Christianization went smooth and all, we still have some bits here and there left like "The Ioakim Chronicle says that Vladimir's uncle, Dobrynya, forced the Novgorodians into Christianity by fire, while the local mayor, Putyata, persuaded his compatriots to accept Christian faith by the sword".
Tbh all things considered I smell propaganda here. Especially taking into account that Orthodox Church backed by Putin's chekists is on the offensive in our country and Putin is Vladimir too.. You see what I'm getting at? And lots of Orthodox clerics have already compared several times Vladimir Putin to Vladimir the Great as in he is our last hope and savior, so shut up about his regime's total corruption, criminal activity and all.
Anyways, the trailer is pretty impressive and I'll watch the film for sure but I'm kinda pessimistic about it coz...reasons. + I hate this character.
PS They say it's a film, not a TV series btw
PPS I wonder if they show how Vladimir raped Rogneda, daughter of Rogvolod, ruler of Polotsk, in the presence of her parents, killed her parents (and both her brothers), and forced her to marry him

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
