After peaceful aliens invade earth, humanity finds itself living in a utopia under the indirect rule of the aliens, but does this utopia come at a price?

It's one of the most ambitious science fiction works ever created, and one that has yet to be adapted for the screen, but Syfy is having a go next month with a six-hour, three-episode event series adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End".

Charles Dance, Colm Meaney and Mike Vogel star in the series and a new featurette by the network tries to explain its provocative and intriguing premise. "Childhood's End" begins December 14th on Syfy.

Looks very SyFy-ish Poker Face

This looks much better than The Expanse's pilot episode I've watched, plus it's only 6 episodes long. Less chance of it being full of filler subplots.

It airs tonight and I'll be sure to download a copy later.

finished watching, was ok, slightly better than your average sci-fi film, the main guy from Under The Dome is in it. Short and sweet, any longer and it would've become a snorefeast

Woah this one made no sense at all. 5 /10 and that's solely on the initial premise of the story, the rest of it is bullshit.

Watched it last night, wasn't bad. Main thing i liked was that it was a complete story. Nothing worse then getting into a tv series and having a very slim chance of ever seeing it ended properly.

Thanks for the huge ass spoiler too.
