There are now serveral people that said they have got the Splinter Cell chaos theory Alcohol clone working on an normal ide dvdrom drive without any usb or starfuck nightmare ,so these are real 1:1 clones.....
1 person on nforce
1 person on fileforums confirmed that it worked for him
and 1 person on megagames forum...
so this must be true...
"1: Created a Image with Alcohol 120% (lastest version). I read the RMPS at the lowest settings (Precision High), same for the data. Read at the lowest settings to prevent errors.
2: Now this is the wierd part. Burn the image at the lowest speed and DO NOT burn the RMPS data to the disk. I burned it to DVDR.

Well i can confirm that it works!
No Emus needed (All emus on Alc and DT are off)!
No Drive's need to be deactivated!
What i used:
Alc 1.9.5.2802
mds from copybase.ch (the one from LeatherFace)
DVD+RW (Memorex DVD+RW)
LG GSA 4082B with lasted Firmware
Burned @ 2,4x

that guy on megagames forum says it starts sometimes but those other 2 didn't... I think it realy depends wich burner and wich media you used.
same story as with that Soldiers ww2 clone. very sensetive

me neither but better an clone working then no release at all. I don't want to buy any usb drive,this method(if works) would be supperior to the usb trick cause the clone works like an original no need to dissable anything.

I was the one who posted it there  And Yes it really work like a sharm for me atm. But maybe an new Patch will fuck it up.... But atm its running like the original Game only thing wich sux is that i need to wait about 3 to 5 mins until StarForce Checked the disk.
I think this is an lucky one for me and Hardware Based... So it wont work for all guys... But its an try.
Its allready the 3rd SF3 game for me wich work without any hassels like StarFuck, mini-image or disable drives....

Has anyone managed to get a copy of the new Mini image (SCCT) on Game Burn World? Its not the same one as the GCW image. Its like 273kb where the other one is 5.xxkb
The link on GBW isnt active so I havent been able to test it, and i havent seen it anywhere else. It prolly doesnt work or meant to work with USB, but i am gunna try it...cuz like i said, its been enough time since the game came out, and i fully expect a normal end user to come up with some kinda mini image/burning method that will work. Besides the groups, others are out there tryin to get it to work..imagine if u got it to work in a standard way...one, u bypassed SF3 with no coding and U DID IT! lol damn, thatd be cool

Clone... yes. i am not to hope....this work with a france release???????
so what i can do???
i burn the image with de RPMS to the france release and delete to my Pc
i extract again the data to de DVD with slow read and soon replacement
the RMPs with the GCW RPMs and burn again with disable RPMS and slow writing.......... so this worker ?????
or it is that i must downloading again the image (4.5g) ufff. please something can helpme

I too burned it with a LG DVD(HL DT ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B) burner, and too says the serial is invalid (I have proven three serial)
the mds file from LeatherFace too.

well im fukin sick.... im just got my USB 2 IDE cabel this weekend...
Installed it and all was fine. I done an System restart and wtf
Cable Dead
LG GSA4082B Dead
Now i send my Burner to LG to let them check it...
Just wrote this Guy where im ordered the cabel that this freaking peace of shit cable killed my DVD-Burner and that this freaking cable died also...
Now i get my Money back... But i cant play SCCT anymore cause when im get my Burner back (maybe an new model) it wont work i think...

but do you also use youre LG GSA 4082B burner to run the copy on or do you use another dvd rom for that ?
