Quote:
EXCLUSIVE: It’s pencils down for the Transformers Writers Room; the experiment has concluded and the early results are in. Akiva Goldsman has walked away with a concrete blueprint to write a Transformers sequel for Mark Wahlberg to star in for Michael Bay to direct, with production starting in June.

Also:

Quote:
Ant-Man scribes Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari will head off and write an animated feature, an origin story that focuses on Cybertron, the planet from which the good and bad Transformer robots hail.

Bay is not confirmed but he is officially in talks and since he brings the billions I'm fairly certain whatever demands he has they will tell him no problem.

Re: directing TF5. No, it's not official. I have not committed to any idea as of yet. Just met with Steven and we are discussing.

well.. on the positive side... after transformers 4, the only way is up... no matter how inept it is, it will at least improve on the previous one.

dont confuse your enjoyment of marky mark with the quality of the film (i mean who doesnt like mark?!), it was easily the blandest film of the whole franchise.. yes.. even worse than the first one.

im just not sure how you could put the dinobots into a film, and make it boring, but somehow bay managed it.. i think it kinda reflected his lack of enthusiasm for the franchise now, but they just keep throwing money at him to phone in it, so he just shrugs and accepts.

cant wait to go see bay tackle a project hes actually passionate about.. at this rate, if he ever does bad boys 3, it could actually end up being really fucking good.

Is that the latest supermodel in Transformers?

She's not a supermodel, she's a proper actress:

Aww Yeah

While not a model, she is pretty face, and a terrible actress.

Bay directing confirmed.

"Transformers, I still have a great time. It's fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see. But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else."

I remind Bay that he said the same thing before each of the last two Transformers movies. "I know," he says. "J.J. [Abrams] told me, 'You're the only guy that could do this.' But it's time to move on. One more."

http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/656581-paramount-sets-annual-release-dates-for-transformers-5-6-and-7#/slide/1

Paramount announced T5, 6 and 7 for June 2017, 2018 and 2019 respectively.

One year is not enough time for filming and post so does this mean they are planning to film them together?

Ah, there we go, Transformers 6 is a lower cost spin off about Bubblebee. That gives Transformers 7 the required time to complete for a 2019 release.

Sir Anthony Hopkins has joined the cast of Michael Bay's "Transformers: The Last Knight" for Paramount Pictures.

Mark Wahlberg will be back to star as the disgraced scientist turned hero, Cade Yeager. Josh Duhamel will also be returning as the ever-vigilant Lt. Colonel Lennox. No details are given about the role Hopkins will be playing.

The announcement was made on the official Twitter page for the film and follows in the wake of news that an epileptic six-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier named Freya will also have a role in the film which opens June 23rd next year.

Are You Serious

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-blog/10240013/Anthony-Hopkins-Ive-already-forgotten-Thor-The-Dark-World.html

Quote:
He said he took the role because Kenneth Branagh, who directed the first Thor, made a personal plea. "I knew Ken and he said 'Would you like to play Odin?' I said, 'Yeah, okay.' At my age if they offer me the phone book to read, I'll read it, as long as they pay me."

And he was actually quite good (compared to the rest of the production) in the Thor films despite not really caring about them.

"Freya has epilepsy and has been in a shelter her whole 6 year life. We are also going to find her a home," he tweeted.

"If not she will come to my house. Welcome to the cast Freya!"

Bay reputedly has two bullmastiffs as pets, Bonecrusher and Grace.

Some people shoehorn their kids to their films. Bay will shoehorn his perhaps-soon-to-be-adopted dog. Very Happy

In an amusing twist, Bonecrusher is the female dog.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
