It took 4 years to misunderstand the technology behind the Bulldozer design and decide to make some money out of it?
I think it's less about the misunderstanding of the technology, and more the argument against dodgy advertising. AMD themselves, right there on the box, claimed "world's first eight core processor!" - and while the tech savvy ones know it's more "technically" a pair of quad cores working together, it is still misleading advertising. No?
