Hmm people without fear tend to have tragic accidents at a young age. Like running on a highway or climbing up some 100 meters crane. You get the picture.
Anyway keep the skin moisturized Phil2003 the next few days, new tattoos need some care. And there is always the option to have the tattoo removed with laser treatment.

Looks daft
Mm I'll also add: Sounds daft, when read it out loud.
Ah well, as long as you like it and that you're happy with it!

Ive got 18 big ones atm. Getting a new one soon - All of them brings back memories, and even though they are "world class" I would never remove them.

Don't like it my boy.
Looks and reads like a caption from some horror flick.
At least i would made tattoos that contain text much smaller.
But if you like it, it's okay.

i do not like tattoos tbh, ex gf had three (incl trampstamp...)... two were small and decent and at places where it couldnt be seen. but that trampstamp... omg... not a fan of such visible things (other one wanted to get starts tattooed, but small and not visible, thats fine. although stars is like tribals or chinese letters -> meh). but as always: if you like -> good. its your body

There was actually a time when I was 18ish and drunk and I considered the idea, but nothing happened (thankfully, because I would've probably regretted it ).
Tattoos do look great on some people, but in my hairy mediterranean case, it would have looked too much hillbilly-like.

"Fear is a liar." Honestly?
What happened to "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
Or any variation thereof like "Fear is the little death" "Fear is the Mindkiller" or even if you want to be even more edgy "I am without Fear" or as you know, brevity is the soul of wit. So simply "Fearless" would also work.
Atleast research these things before you get it imprinted into your body.

We don't like it, get it erased or amended with an asterisk, then post back new photos.

@Epsilon, really? Its probably too much to ask for the meaning of it, before sharing your opinion about what it should be or not.
Besides, its probably in the nature of tattoos to be liked or not. If i want something you guys like, ill ask next time before my appointment. |
All you give us is a picture, we cannot judge on anything else but what we're given. If it needed context, you should've provided context.

Here, fixed it for you.
I think that it's a universally ugly tattoo.
You didn't give us context, so I'm not judging "fear is a liar.", beacuse I don't understand it - as most of us don't. All we can judge is the "picture" which is well.. the typography is ugly, it's too big and seems out of place.
It's probably has some higher meaning to you so you see it different - that's good, but don't expect people to understand if you didn't walk us through.
EDIT:
for example, this as a small tattoo somewhere looks very stylish IMO:

I could have a tattoo like that.
