Quote:
A six part dramatization of one of the most exciting stories from the Second World War - the Nazis' efforts to develop an atom bomb and the Allies' desperate struggle to prevent it from happening.

The series starts in Stockholm in 1933 when German scientist Werner Heisenberg is awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics and is congratulated by his mentor Niels Bohr – a previous Nobel Prize winner. One of the dramatic high points is the daring sabotage mission to blow up the heavy water factory in the Norwegian mountains in 1943.

Leading English, Norwegian and German actors portray real life characters and we get to understand their dilemmas and challenges in this epic story, the outcome of which will determine the future of democracy.

Also zombies. Hitler would have won with the zombie army he was making. And lightning guns.

That is awesome, if I remember when the special forces/nord recruits boarded the ferry/boat thing that was supposed to have barrels of heavy water on there it was actually fairly limited amount or none at all and there was another shipment that went out earlier or such? I remember divers taking a look at a sunken vessel and testing its contents and finding heavy water though in barrels on the floor bed.

If I recall the attack did not go fully to plan originally.

Pff we all know the new fad is Thorium... everyone with a tin foil hat tells me the government is keeping it a secret! They even say it's the most dense material... but I wasn't sure they were talking of Thorium or their head. Cool Face
