BitTorrent downloads various parts of the file (whatever is available at the moment) and the complete file is only available at the end of the process.
This would be fine if the movie was in MPEG, as the entire frame is encoded there and you could recover the pieces it has to date, and watch them. The problem is, more than likely you have an MP4 (Divx, XVID) movie, which works a bit differently (it has a library of pieces at the beginning or end of the file, and then the frames are "piece 8231, piece 1231, etc...", so your computer may not even have the complete library yet. You can try to build what you have, but I'd doubt it will be worth the trouble.
