So yeah, the right rear side right above the wheel on my Fiesta about a year ago I bumped it and scratched it against a pole, which left a big dent and scratch there. I didn't have cash to fix it back then and well it just stayed like that. Then about 3 months ago, I hit that part again against some concrete bullshit someone left near the sidewalk but it only made a small scratch which can be covered with polishing.

And then today while I was at the petrol station drinking coffee some kid starts to park out and scratches that right rear side with his bumper on the exact same spot I scratched it against the pole. So I guess the lucky part is that he basically made a smaller scratch over my own scratch....

The kid was pretty scared and nervous, especially when he saw a police badge in my car so after I checked the damage I was like look, give me your number if I need anything I'll call you.

Basically the damage he did was just a few smaller scratches over the scratch I already made. Also since I already dented that part of the car he did not make any dent just scratches. It kinda looks a bit uglier now but other than that it's fine. Didn't wanna ask for any cash or call the traffic police since I already need to fix that whole right rear anyway.

But still, it kinda pissed me off a little. It was a pretty busy day and on top of that you had that shit happen. Perhaps I should've just activated the insurance but I guess I'm too good for my own good Sad

Scratches are part of life here.

Just to illustrate how fun driving can be here....

You are in a traffic jam, every car is about 2-3 feet away from each others right? Well motorcycles here will zigzag between them ALL FUCKING DAY, on whatever speed they are. They will blast past ur door, they will zig zag in front of you, between both cars, scratching the bumpers and the lights when zigzagging.

This is hell.

Well, depends, here we have ehhhhh "public transportation" which are CRAP rusted falling apart cars that fit 2 people in the front seat and 4 on the rear seats. Those are everywhere... so in traffic jams people open and close the door without notice to get out. They usually crash into those doors all the time. (love it)

Delivery bikes usually have a basket on the back, they usually slam your car with it while zigzagging.

And while zigzagging they hit ur car but they dont fall, they just accelerate away.

Jesus... That sounds terrible Surprised I can't imagine driving there I think I'd be completely lost and just park the car somewhere and take a chopper or some shit Very Happy Motorcyclists here are rather good lately. It's usually the scooter drivers that tend to be crazy sometimes. But in the past 2 years I don't think I saw any crazy motorcyclists on the routes that I drive. Once there was some scooter guy who overtook a few of us on the inside near an intersection so someone could've slammed him if we didn't look when turning.

I tend to be tolerant towards bikes. Yesterday I saw a motorcycle coming behind me I was doing the speed limit 80kmh and he was going maybe 90-100 so I saw him and I moved the car all the way to the right cuz it was a solid line so he passed me but without going over and as he did his passenger waved to me as a thank you Very Happy I flashed my high beams back at him.

Oh and the cyclists are the craziest here I'd say.

That looks pretty chaotic Surprised There is way too many motorcyclists and I noticed that no one wears a helmet? And they seem to squeeze through pretty tight spots.
