NFORCE forums used to be some of the most active forums on the net. After they reoppened, i've noticed that they appear almost dead.

Waz up?

well it might be that they still havn't found the way to register or login or something.

Took me some time myself to get in properly.

All we have to do is wait and see i gues.

Give it some time, it's always like that with new forums. Not to mention that there's really nothing to discuss at this point. Wait for Doom 3 Wink

It will take awhile to pick up again.

As we've switched to using NFOrce.nl Account instead of forum account it's as if the forum was wiped clean. It's expected that it'll be quieter than usual for afew days.

Things will pick up though.

I think it's a pity the old stuff is gone, especially since its not that hard to convert vbb to phpBB.

We could have converted the database. But as we are using Site Accounts instead of Forum accounts there is no way to match ALL old Forum Account to the Site Accounts. All the old posts would have had to be from Guest. That would have looked a mess.

You could have given them an [old] prefix or something Razz, or even better, asked people what username they used on the old board, confirm it by letting them enter a password, and by doing that match the user on the front page with the forum user and transferring all posts made by the old forum user to the new website user.

Could and "could be bothered to waste time doing" are two very different things ! This place will pick up again in no time, in the first few hours it had over 70 users on at its peak time, it wont be long before the other old users crawl back.. It was only us forum junkies waitting around, refreshing every 10 secconds waitting for this place to come back up!

Anywho, whats done is done.
