I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
Well, i actually have a nice Cube crossbike, but this one is meant as a car replacement (as much as possible) for the city. Its just nicer to get to customers without sweating like an elephant.
That bike goes 40mph as well, so that should be even fun too while doing my business.
Since the guy who builds them works in the office next to mine
It's a cool concept, and you can really get amazing speed with no effort, but I'd never buy it in a million years.
First of all they are expensive, second I don't really like the feel of it, I don't feel like I have the proper control. It's heavy, and in the end why would I ride a bike if I'll have a motor helping me?
I mean you can disable the visiobike's motor with an app, but then you are riding a very very heavy bike. And I don't need this.
Give me a quality MTB and I'll be happy

These bikes are indeed pretty fast, too much for elders in my opinion. My grandpa had one and we had to confiscate it from him because we kept receiving warnings from the local police for being a potential threat (negligence/excessive speeding + senile dementia, not a good combo).
They go along well with laziness though, or they can be eco-replacements for scooters which is not something to be embarrassed about (kind of )
Aren't ebikes legally restricted to 200W? All throughout the EU, and even Norway as part of the EØS/EEA, they're illegal if above 200W and/or not restricted to 24.9kph.
~edit~
Wicked video though, thanks 80kph on a bicycle.. in Russia on the ice/snow.. haha, mental!
Yup, and although it's a chinese noname, the build/assembly quality is amazing, the geek guys that upgraded it for me said they've never seen anything like that. Usually it's a total mess inside with chewing gum and tape holding it all together
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
As an owner of a Chinese scoot, I can attest They're cheap to buy and maintain.. but yeahhhhhhhhh... the build quality isn't something you'd normally praise. I'm really curious about these escoots, the acceleration on them looks insane! Do you have any links to info? Prices? That sort of stuff. Thanks!
I never managed to find the original manifacturer's site or a US/EU version. The scoot itself has no brand or model. As far as I can judge they're imported OEM style and later (re)branded locally with the dealer's stickers (like mine).
Anyway acceleration and going uphill is not their strongest point unless you weigh 50kg. At least out of the box. After upgrades it can do wonders. This 12kw thing here goes 100km easily:
The general rule is quite simple: no less than 2000W (bare minimum) motorwheel, preferably those that can be tweaked to 3000-4000, a good controller that will do this tweak and a decent custom battery. There are escooters that are already packing such power, but they're unreasonably expensive. It's easier to buy a 'donor' and upgrade it.
P.S. Speaking of assembly - my 1993 or something Honda Giorno still works perfectly, just need to change some cheap stuff inside once a year.

I dont think that e-bikes (or pedelecs) above 50mph make much sense, theyre just too fragile imho. My first thought was a 125cc real bike, which can be driven with a normal car driving license here in Austria. But then i just got this offer for this pedelec, which - to be honest - i couldnt afford if i had to pay it all at once (i can compensate it partly via work).
Future plan is using mainly the ebike and selling the car for a 125cc. Will save me a lot of money hopefully and no more jam!
Btw, we have no law here regarding pedelecs above 20mph, so driving them is illegal here but no one cares. In other countrys they need insurance and stuff.
@Dingo; that visio looks absolutely nice, too bad you didnt like it.
