Hi!

My Seasonic M12II 620W Bronze has started to make a weird sort of clicking/ticking sound while playing The Witcher 3. So it's probably dying. RMA is not really an option since the store I bought it from has shut down and the closest Seasonic servicer is in another country.

So I need to buy a new one. What should I get? Seasonic is the most hyped PSU manufacturer and now it's giving me this shit. Previously had a Corsair which also died. The respected manufacturers just keep on failing me. Sad

System does not require much. Have a GTX970, OCd 3570k @ 4,2 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1 SSD, 1 HDD, Disk Drive and that's pretty much it.
Will look into those and check the availability around here. Thanks for the suggestions!

Or maybe the power grid where you live or on your house is crap. Just a though, especially if you've already gone through two PSU's.

Well they both lasted around 3 years. And once upon a time I had a crappy no name 400W PSU which lasted around 6 years til I needed to upgrade because I needed a bit more power. So I would expect at least equal performance from a top of the line manufacturer.

But let's not argue about that. Maybe I just had bad luck. Maybe it's the grid. Who knows. Now I just need a new one.

If it was due to the grid you'd also see it on other stuff around the house... maybe. I just threw that out there because you mentioned that it was the 2nd time it happened, however if both lasted ~3 years each maybe not.

Mida värki? Seasonicu garantii käib väga kiirelt.
Just RMA to Seasonic. They replace your PSU even if the shop is closed but warranty is active.

Oot. A kust kaudu see asi käib? Peab neile mingi meili saatma? Kodulehelt ma väga nagu mingit infot ei leidnud.

On another note. Nice seeing another Estonian here! Smile

Send an e-mail to support@seasoniceu.com, explain your problem. They will send you RMA form. It'll cost you around 15€ (Omniva) to send it to them but the whole process took 6 working days for me (until UPS delivered my new unit).
The only thing that can slow you down is Omniva as their quality is below everything.
