Never drink soda around electronics, that's what you should learn from this. I've banned anything with sugar since ten years ago after a friend ruined my Xbox controller.

Reason #2334543545 to have a big ass desk and to have the tower on the same level in which you have the monitor and keyboard Very Happy
I'd have to pull quite effort in order to throw any liquid all over it Laughing

This so much. Less dust in the case that way as well.

Yeah, less dust but more noise unless it's water cooled or you use headphones. The desk muffles the fans a little at least. Not to mention it would block my surround speakers unless my desk is like 3 meters wide Or the fact that I'd always be worried the case would fall off the desk.

More noise - > turn the volume up or use headphones.
And falling off the desk? Not a chance, worst case scenario is for it to tumble over the desk on its side and even that would require considerable force to pull off.

It must be literally impossible to spill soda over the tower...
The only way i can see that happening if the tower is on the floor is that it was never under the desk, and that meana tbat is some pretty odd arrangement u have there.

If the tower is on the desk you would of had to been placing the can or whatever on the top of the pc? No one is that stupid to do this.

So it leaves me to wonder how then does soda spill off the side of the desk fhen rolls all way under the desk and then pours itself into the tower Smile

Pls dont say you had tower on side of desk to allow heavy items etx to fall into the top fans etc. Do you give a shit about your pc? Your pc hates you..

lololol....
it was just water with bubbles, 2 teespoons sugar and 2 fresh pressed citron´s...

its what i call limo/soda here.. (selfmade of course) i dont drink that coca cola, fanta, stuff.. i hate it, my teeth feel odd when i drink such stuff, like theres carpet on them after, dunno... also it tastes way tooo sweet..

anyhow..
yeah my Tpwer arangement is kinda bad i guess.. its on teh right side of teh table.. and when i spilled the glass it fell to the right side haha..

i only use bottles now or drink somewhere else..

im happy that teh pC is still running hehe.. all fine, just the PSU Fan is making kinda strange noises, like its bearing is broken or dunno.

maybe its because of teh dust i removed from it, it has more air to breathe now Smile

tower is now a bit more UNDER the table, instead of besides it...

For the record, the Tower is way to heavy to put it on teh table.. its around 18 kilogramms.. (HAF 932 Advanced). so no way ill put it up there, its like working next to an skyscraper...

I would be tempted to do what Interinactive said and wash it off in a bath. I would probably google if sugar and citric acid would damage the parts over time first.
