Might and Magic II - Gates To Another World (1988)
[New World Computing ]
After the events of Might and Magic 1, the adventurers who helped Corak defeat Sheltem on VARN take the "Gates to Another World" located in VARN to the land of CRON (Central Research Observational Nacelle). The land of CRON is facing many problems brought on by the encroachment of Sheltem and the adventurers must travel through CRON, the four elemental planes and even through time to help Corak stop Sheltem from flinging CRON into its sun.
Excellent oldskool rpg which I havent played since late 80s (88-89).
Only just restarted on it and I just cant stop playing! I wonder if "todays kids" would enjoy these kind of unforgiving games (well...its not as unforgiving as Rouge games...but still!)
I used to love this game, so friggin' much, along with the likes of Eye of the Beholder and Bard's Tale. I couldn't go back to them now though Too old, too outdated, too basic. Still... great for the time.
kinda expected this thread after your dosbox issues
