This film is a documentary of the nuclear test history of the United States.
It doesn't go into the usual moral arguments or try to propagandise the issue in any way.
It also does not focus on any unnecessary hero worship bullshit.
It just focuses on the bombs themselves and the video documentation on them.
Gigantic atomic cumshots set to epic classical music.
It is nuclear porn.
Informative, scary, beautiful.
Originally released in 1995 on the 50th anniversary of the Trinity test (the first ever bomb)
Polished up for re-release last week for the 70th anniversary with NEW recently declassified shots and better quality versions of old shots. (about 7 minutes longer)
I think the anniversary version is only available to kickstarter backers until the dvd/bluray versions come out.
But maybe someone will torrent it.
The original is one of my all time favourite documentary films ever, and I was a backer for the anniversary edition.
Updated shots are just glorious.
Again a full 10/10 from me.

The trailers don't show the most beautiful shots, but I think you get the idea with the soundtrack.
William Stromberg's score is also well worth a get, if you're into epic classical music.
