What a great start to Friday as we've just come across a fantastic bit of news of which may send a slight tingle down the spines of retro gaming RPG players across the globe! And that news is a fan based release of the Windows/Linux port of Albion; one of my all time favourite RPG's released by Blue Byte Software in 1995!

I liked Albion, of course it could be because I was rather young when I first played it and waking up on the planet after the shuttle crash and seeing a bunch of alien tits gave a lasting impression. Razz

(A lot of interactivity too, could pick up many otherwise useless items for no real reason and exploration was often worthwhile, such as figuring out how to smuggle a pistol and a bunch of bullets with you at the start of the game.)

(Nice mix of 2D overworld exploration and 3D dungeons too.)
