It's not all about the benchmark, it's also has the best battery performance and it's a 10-core cpu. They also work on a 12 core cpu. Pretty impressive for a smarthphone chip

Sure it might perform awesome in benchmarks, like the SGS6 does compared to the M9, but reallife performance is still the same if not lesser (like SGS6 vs M9)

Looking at the M9plus vs MT6795 they both have the exact same GPU component though, so it seems to be more of a driver issue than a chipset one. The CPU difference can't be *that* extreme as to cause such a monumental performance drop in *3D* tasks. I don't really take into account the M9 and M8 though, since they're both running 1080p instead of 1440p ..which is a hell of a difference.
