Today I have finished some minor upgrades & changes to my BigRig.

I've bought a dampening set for my case, better high-static fans for my WC, and a HDD cage that goes into the 5,25" bay from LianLi.

A) First I moved the fans that came with my WC solution to the front panel (2x 120mm), and put a pair of EK Vardar F2's in their place (higher static pressure).

B) ...then I applied the dampening mats to the sidewindows & case like this:

I even covered the little areas around the radiator, because it's a 240mm rad on a bay that has both, 240/280mm support, so some spots where completely open if you remove the top grill.

C) in order for the front panel fans to work properly I had to remove the original HDD cage which came with the case. It was blocking the airflow and also it was kinda crappy.
I bought a 5,25" bayed HDD cage instead from LianLi.

And I also got myself a 850 Evo 1Tb, because since 2012, I only had 2x 240Gb 830's. Now I have 3 SSDs, 0 HDDs and 1.5 Tb storage. Now I can easily install all Steam games I like to play, without deleting the ones I play less frequently, which was a hard choice before...

I've been waiting since Thursday to be able to install GTAV now... first the USB-DVD broke (does read-errors all the time, even with Anti-Virus disabled), then I had not enough space to download it via Social Club... it was a fucking mess.

Will try and download it over today night (or simply, tonite). Very Happy

About the dampening:

Boy, that was easily the best invested 29€, ever. I mean it was really silent before, and when you put your headphones on you literally couldnt hear nothing.
And now with the dampening you can just barely hear it at all on full load even without any headphones on, ... that is absolutely incredible.
