40 bucks for online play? nono crapcom, thats not how it works. online play is fine and great if properly implemented and crossplay blabla. but the choice of games is bad. hyper fighting sucks, champion edition would be the better choice. and super street fighter 2 turbo would be ok if it would be the champion edition, but if its the hyper fighting stuff sft2t is useless cause hyper fighting is already based on turbo. so with hyper fighting they should have gone for super street fighter 2 the new challengers as second title of the sf2 series instead
Speaking of 40$ a few months ago apparently Capcom re-released Street Fighter 2 on the Switch, for 40$ and now the entire compilation of games (Though maybe not the definitive edition of each individual title.) is being brought over to just about every platform, including Switch and once again for 40$ so well hopefully that SF2 version came with some good extras because that's quite a poor deal otherwise ha ha.
For the amount of titles included 40$ seems OK but then again they could be running through some emulator or other system setup (Used to tie in extras such as the gallery, achievements and the like.) and it's fairly old games with probably not much extra work done for each title and it's mostly this framework they're running through that they're working on. (Arcade emulator I'd guess but it could be some other thing.)
Could be worth a download at least for a compilation of almost the entire Street Fighter series of games, online play only for certain titles is a bit poor and I haven't read anything about split screen or such although I'd assume it was in at least.
Though yeah *how* many different editions of some of these games?
And that's just one of them.
(So kinda hard to keep track of which edition is considered "best" or most complete of these though I guess Capcom is sticking to the arcade editions for simplicity perhaps rather than backport some of the extended versions on console or handheld platforms?)
Could be worse I guess, we only got three different editions of Street Fighter IV I believe.
