Finally got all the pieces together of my new rig. (I was upgrading from an old core 2 duo laptop that I bought back in 07). Specs as follows:

Used: (bought all of this for 500 bucks USD)
i5 3570k
Asrock z77 extreme motherboard
8 gigs (2x4) of Aries ram
1 TB WD hard drive
Geforce GTS 450
Corsair 550W bronze PS
Acer 23" HD monitor

New (stuff i bought to upgrade as well)
NZXT Phantom 410 case
Sandisk extreme pro 240 ssd
Asus geforce GTX 970 (replaced 450)
(2) 3 gig WD hard drives (from my old plex media server)

All told spent about 900 bucks USD. I might still buy another 8 gigs of ram, but I thought i'd run with what i have for a bit just to see how it goes. Thanks for the recommendations everyone! (Even if you weren't directing those recommendations specifically at me Smile )
