Released in Japan on March 12th on both current gen and last generation consoles, Yakuza Zero takes the story of Kiryu back to the beginning of the series, landing the player in 80's Kamurocho, Tokyo. Hopefully this will get released in the west, just as Yakuza 5 is.

Word game? if not then you can never know, Yakuza 5 was out in japan on december 2012 and will be out 1n 2015 world wide, that's 2+ years after... and since 0 is main series game it could get localized.
If you want to play this demo, importing is your only option: it comes free with copies of Yakuza Kiwami, a PS4 remake of the first game in the series.
I also can't get over how many things they have improved. Mostly little things but they really add up. Will be hard to beat this one for GOTY for me.
Some of the substories are also quite funny (even compared to previous entries in the series).

its a great fucking game, easily the most interesting story and characters since witcher 3, so far I'd say its the best game in the series for me, but I haven't played 5 and 6 yet.

People say part 5 was the worst ... well the beginning when you play as the taxi driver , drive a taxi and then race others with it ... it did not fit with some people , with a series that was build on Mini-games, Walking around a big town and Talking to people ...
too bad for no physical release of the ENG version dont like buying digital games for my consoles ...
Yakuza 6 on the other had promises Two new things ... a new Town then the same XYZ towns and new Cast
Looks like a great game...and as I've finally finished with the Witcher 3 and expansions (what a fucking game!!) could be a good time to start out on this
