LEGO The Hobbit will be based on the first two films of The Hobbit Trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the upcoming The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), opening worldwide beginning December 13, 2013. Following the storyline of the first two films, LEGO The Hobbit will take players on quests throughout Middle-earth, joining Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and Thorin Oakenshield and Company in their exciting adventures toward the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor.

“We are thrilled to depict the characters and environments of Peter Jackson’s Middle-earth in LEGO form with the LEGO The Hobbit videogame,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Our family-friendly take on these thrilling adventures will have kids and parents playing and laughing together as they build and explore in LEGO Middle-earth.”

I wasn't too fond of the LEGO Batman game. The game suffered from the open world concept, and I think LEGO games should stick to what it does best: a platformer, in closed environments.

The Star Wars and Indiana Jones games are still the best!

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

The DirectX 11 exe doesn't do anything at the moment anyway, it's missing the corresponding Steam_Api64.dll file, yeah for some reason the DX11 exe is 64-bit and though there are other 64-bit Steam games the api .dll is usually customized for each game so using some other file won't work.

No idea if they missed that file or if this is intentional but in any case this update is probably also preparation for the upcoming DLC that will add that last third of the game.
(Just need the actual data for it to be playable of course.)

Even if it's before it's not tomorrow or September but 1-2 weeks before the premiere

Three DLC packs got released, probably already part of the game since the previous update so nothing new if it was already possible to unlock this content.

They fixed the previous dlc, the characters didn't show up when you bought the dlc. Don't know if they added some new third movie stuff too, but looking at the size it is reasonable conclusion that they are prepping for third movie dlc.

Yeah they fucked up one of the dlc with the previous patch. Everyone who bought battle pack dlc got armory pack instead(only dlc "not available" on PC, but it is just bullshit locking) and they fixed it now. Not sure why the patch is so big again, i think they have very shit filesystem or smth that you need to download those big patches for little fixes.
