A new game set within Dungeon & Dragons’ Forgotten Realms Sword Coast has been announced, and its development is a collaboration between Wizards of the Coast, n-Space, Digital Extremes, and Dragon Age: Origins director and executive producer Dan Tudge

*Single player campaign created by members of the leadership team that brought you Dragon Age™: Origins

*Choose from five playable races and six unique character classes to build your own stalwart adventurer

*A return to form, Sword Coast Legends is the compelling and complex RPG you've been waiting for and features pause time, party-based tactical combat and involving storylines

*Dungeon Master Mode: Create your own epic adventure to share with your friends, or enhance their experience in real time as they traverse your dungeon

*Set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe based on the fifth edition ruleset and populated with Dungeons & Dragons lore and legend

Who knows, this might turn out to be not-so-utter-shite eventually. The DM mechanic could have some potential.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

The usual assortment of screenshots, also I think that axe there in the HUD is a Kit Rae design.

The graphics look a bit dated, but everything else makes it seem like my kind of game. Shame they couldn't think of a less generic name.

@ Lolo: It seems the 4pack gfits have the no trading and gifting tag on them so I doubt we will be able to get the game cheaper like most other games from 4packs.

Pretty disappointed with only so few classes. One of the thing that separates NWN with other RPGs on PC is the sheer amount of customization you can do with classes, skills, etc. I waned to see that back. Sad

At least the 3D models are somehow similar to the portraits. Not like in Wasteland 2 where there's like 0% reassembly of the 3D models compared to the portraits Laughing

Weird update.

Like:
Will the single player campaign be playable coop?
More details on that later!

So no? I mean, you could just write: Yes, more details on that later!

Same as with:
Will there be a Mac version of this game?
Boom! Right out of the gate something I cannot talk about! We’re not talking about additional SKUs right now.

So another no I imagine?

PC: Yes. Console: No.
