so very rarely on some games if you modify ingame brightness or gamma, when exiting the game, that modification applies to windows too and have to reset the pc to get the default value; latest game with this issue is witcher....any way to fix it without restarting?
Color Management Control Panel --> Advanced --> "Reload current callibrations" button.
But you will need a ICC Profile for that button to become active. So, calibarate your monitor
- with hardware calibrators
- eyeball it or do nothing and just click 'Next' via Color Management Control Panel --> Advanced --> "Calibrate display" button
