Hey guys,

I always wanted a tattoo and since I've some scars on my upper breast I thought to take that spot for the tat. I don't know much about tattoo's, because I don't have any Very Happy. I know that spot might be not the best for a tat, but I really want those scars to go away...so I can go to the beach without wearing a t-shirt.

I found 2 good tattoo studios, but I have no fucking clue what to do... I want something unique.

How big are your scars? Being a turk, you shouldn't have much problems to grow some breast hair Laughing

I might be getting a couple of new ones soon too Smile

Edit: But asking on the net for original ones? Tbh you should find one yourself rather than get others to do it for you...more personal that way.

I'm shaving them xD

@toni: My doc said it was acne (those things were swelling and hurt like hell), due to a lot of stress in my life for the past year...that's what he said.

it looks like this now:

huh weird... seems like whatever that guy has on his chest hasn't fully healed.

If even after the wound completely heals it still looks like that then go for it, I was thinking of more "traditional" scars like mine (knife cuts, a drop of burning cooking oil, stuff like that). Very Happy

Scars like that should be OK to get ink over them. I think scar tissue that is thin can be a problem. Is there still red marks over the skin? If so you might want to get something mostly in black with shading.

Whatever you get - make sure that the tatooist will enjoy doing it. If he's dead bored with tribal, DO NOT get a tribal from him..

Not something I would get. I like colours but that is too much for me. You need to have a long think about what you want.

also from stuff I heard, if you getting a first tattoo don't go overboard. Do a small one first and see if you can handle the constant vibration of the needle.

Abit too much details for my taste. I'd like my tats to look like something when I get old rather than a blue blob Smile

I've talked with some friends about it and showed it to them, they said it's not bad...you don't even notice it. Well, I guess I won't get a tat then, but I'll have to tan a bit before I fly to spain in july, I'm still not confident enough (to walk on the beach like that).

Not in a mean way but... Get over it. It's just some scars, everyone has some complex or another. If you are concerned about other people who will judge just on looks or imperfections they aren't worth your time and thoughts (especially on minor issues like that).

Last year I developed psoriasis. Won't stop me from going to the beach, yup I'll feel a bit awkward at first, but screw it. It will do good to my skin, and I'm out there to enjoy the day with my gf, not to parade around for others.

Haven't seen your scars (and don't have to to tell) but I'm betting it's all bigger in your head.

Any who in a nuttshell:
Be somewhat awkward if you want, but know that it's mostly just in your mind. And for me and everyone else: have a fricking blast on the beaches of Spain Very Happy

things you don't do if you're considering having a tatoo :

ask your boy/girlfriend what to do
ask your parents/siblings what to do
ask your friends what to do
ask people on the street or in the shop what to do
ask people you know from the internet (facebook and the like) what to do
ask random people on random forums what to do
ask random people you know on the hump what to do
ask random people on 4chan.org what to do

oh and add : don't do tribals, don't do chinese letters, don't do stars and suns and moons.

oh and another thing, if someone says "its not bad" to something you show them, it usually means "yeah, it toally sucks chunks dude, but because i like you, i won't say that".

Jesus Christ?

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
