Following the release of The Room in 2014, Fireproof Games are proud to bring the critically acclaimed sequel to PC.
The Room Two continues the time-spanning journey of its predecessor while significantly expanding its unique puzzle gameplay. Follow a trail of cryptic letters from an enigmatic scientist known only as “AS” into a compelling world of challenging mystery and tactile exploration.
Development on this fully-enhanced HD version of The Room Two began shortly after the mobile release of The Room Three late in 2015 and has involved creating wholly new environments for each level as well as rebuilding and re-texturing every asset in the game.
Fireproof Games are a small independent team working in Guildford in the UK. We self-published our first game The Room on iPad in September 2012 and were stunned with both the critical success and our new-found fan-base, not to mention multiple international awards. The Room games have since changed our lives and we hope you enjoy playing them as much as we enjoyed making them.
Geez, it's been a while since I completed Room 3 - they really need tor release quicker on PC. I hope Room 4 comes out soon.. I adore these games - probably the best example of the genre.

Matryoshka-ish contraptions, your time is over!
I enjoyed the first one too on PC for what it was, very short and a bit on the easy side, but still satisfying when you hear the iconic clicking sound xD
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
@consolitis
I only played it on my smartphone way back then for a bit.
Didn't had the time yet to play it on PC too.
But as the game(s) get received so damn well by most people, and because the episodes are not that long, i might give it a go soon.

RPS: The transition to PC has been a slow one. Can you explain a bit about the process the first two games have gone through to reach our bigger screens?
Barry Meade: Many reasons for that slow appearance. Time is one, budget is another, fear yet another. We couldn’t just ‘port’ our game to PC, we had to rebuild it from the ground up. As a team of 14 people, The Room PC was going to take six to eight people full time for six months or more, with no guarantee of ever making money. Yet, ever since we started Fireproof in 2008 we wanted to make PC & console games, our natural home both as gamers and professionally. But with the Room we were always fearful that on PC we’d simply be cursed as a mobile game and ignored. Moreover because we put a lot of effort into our touch-based control system, we thought the game would be lesser without that direct tactility. Ultimately, we were completely wrong on that. Although not many people reviewed the game on release, one year on it has a rating of Overwhelmingly Positive from our players. It seems the content is what matters after all.

RPS: Will we be likely to see The Room 3 a bit more quickly on PC? It looked a much higher-def game on mobile this time out.
Barry Meade: We would really like to see it but it depends how The Room Two is received. Without PR or advertising as a crutch, we’re more focused on what our players think and use them as a guide to help our decisions. If this game takes off, I think it’s very likely we’ll remake The Room Three for PC too.
Room 2 is probably the best of the three, but that's not saying the other two are poor - they're awesome experiences - as long as you have good logic and able to think 'outside the box' - literally in some cases
This is crying out for a VR version too.
