The game will cover the storylines from all three classic Jurassic Park films, as well as the upcoming Jurassic World (which by that point will have been released for around a month).
LEGO Jurassic World is currently scheduled for a June release for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and Windows PC.

I wonder what different characters are they going to put in it, it's not like jurrasic park has over 100 unique characters, unless they add gazillion dinosaurs or just add different character slot for every different skin of same character. Still can' wait to play it Mr. Green

Imagine a LEGO game where you could... hmm... build with LEGO. Towns, cities, people. Like that hugely successful game that sort of does the same thing.

Hmm.. nah. That's too out there. Best keep reskinning and slightly changing these platformers.

Because if you are able to do it with a computer, why would most people buy the fucking overpriced block? Just like you'll never see a good warhammer game on PC, nobody would buy the figurines.

In LEGO Jurassic World, players will be able to collect precious amber, which contains dinosaur DNA to create and customize species. And, for the first time in a LEGO game, players will be able to play as LEGO dinosaurs, including dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park series and from the upcoming Jurassic World film.

I think there's plenty of recognizable characters to include. Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, John Hammond, Robert Muldoon, Lex Murphy, Tim Murphy, Henry Wu, Donald Gennaro, Dennis Nedry, Ray Arnold, Lewis Dodgson, Juanito Rostagno, Gerry Harding, Sarah Harding, Kelly Malcolm, Nick Van Owen, Roland Tembo, Peter Ludlow, Eddie Carr, Dieter Stark, Robert Burke, Ajay Sidhu, any of the large group of unnamed mercenaries and hunters on Isla Sorna during The Lost World, and just for completionism's sake, even the shit characters from JP3 (the whole fucking idiot Kirby family, and the stupid dino fodder mercenaries Udesky, Cooper, and Nash). That's at least 30 right there. I'm sure a lot of regular movie fans won't instantly recognize many of the names aside from the headliners, but the Lego games have always done a great job of catering to the hardcore fans who remember every face and character and want to have them playable.

So, start out with a 30+ so far, then JW will probably add 10-15 major new characters, plus the 20 playable dinosaurs and the custom dinos that the player can make, and I think that's a pretty solid line-up of recognizable characters. They'll get to 100+ by adding extra park workers and scientists and mercenaries and hunters and goons from the various factions (InGen, BioSyn, etc). No, the cast isn't as big as Star Wars or The Hobbit, but the scale of the action in the JP films themselves is simply smaller than those movies to begin with.

I'm so excited for this game, because JP is one of my favorite fictional worlds. I just want to explore Isla Nublar and the park facilities for hours. Can't wait!

Looks like Warner and TT are trying out the early-access method on Steam with a LEGO game, not Jurassic though but some survival/sandbox type experience called LEGO World.

Place one guy, switch to the other one and stand in front of the first one and hit action.

The order you choose character may be important for the following task, choose accordingly. Wink

Good to hear that. Completed ALL Lego games in co-op with my son. Time for some dinos now.
