The Stomping Land is a multiplayer survival game about dinosaurs.
In order to survive, your primary need is simply to eat dinosaur meat. There are plenty of small dinosaurs on the island for you to hunt, but larger carnivores are nearly impossible to kill and are effective at preventing you from obtaining your food.
At the very start, your hunter is weak and ineffective. By salvaging resources from the world, you will have access to tools and abilities that make you a competent hunter. These tools, when used in combination, will counter these larger carnivores or help you discover other ways of obtaining food. A few of these methods include:
- Building traps to wound carnivores
- Hunting down masses of small dinosaurs
- Sabotaging camps built by other players that contain food
Cooperation is highly rewarded since the process of hunting becomes drastically easier. Groups of hunters will have the ability to build campsites, which can be used to store meat. Large quantities of stored meat will enable abilities for that group.
The more meat that is being stored by players, the fewer huntable dinosaurs will be present on the map. This will cause other tribes to seek down and destroy your campsites. Becoming the dominant tribe on the island is the ultimate goal.
I know it's Mehltiplayer, but I still think it looks pretty good, especially when he started to skin the animal and the T-rex charged in. Trap setting is also something a lot more games need.
It's multiplayer which means that 9 out of 10 games will devolve into idiots shooting flare arrows near each other to try and get each other eaten.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

That was awesome! From an immersion point of view it gives me Gothic vibes. The fact that you see how you do every single action, the fact that they have animations for everything and all that is really awesome. It still looks very early, but I really hope now that they manage to get this game where they want.
Q: Will you be able to play the game alone and offline?
A: Short answer yes, but it will be much harder to survive without the help of other hunters.
Q: Will we be able to capture flying dinosaurs and use them to fly?
A: Right now the devs have confirmed that You will be able to craft a pterodactyl wing suit by collecting parts from killing pterodactyls. It will be more gliding then flying though.
This game is nearly impossible to play alone. You'll get raided again, again and again. And since there are nothing in the game except players, Rust is PvP fest.
If this requires some sort of coop to take out dino, also no rifles, so i guess it's gonna be harder to kill players. May turn off some trigger happy morons
"Currently, hunters don't have any imaginary inventory. If you want to collect wood or another resource, you must physically pick it up and place it where you want. Resources can be stacked together into boxes and you can drag the boxes where you want, but your actual player cannot store heavy materials in a 'backpack'. Anything light, such as foliage, gems, and even small meat, can be hand-placed onto your model with the customization system. So if you lose your torch in a cave, start calling for help!"
