I'm planing on buying myself a new rig and I had came up with this:

Intel Core i5-4460 3,2Ghz s1150 BOX
ASRock s1150 Z97 EXTREME3
Kingston 8GB 1866MHz CL10 DIMM DDR3
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB (256 Bit)
Thermaltake SMART SE SPS630MPCBEU 630W
Cooler Master Midi - Silencio 452

It's a bit pricey (5600 kn or in € ~€740). Would you replace something? Change something. If you want to check the Croatian prices, the best site for that is http://www.nabava.net/.
I'd like to buy all in one store (so that I could pay it in monthly rates), but that's not a priority.

The uses will mostly be for business (web dev + some design work in photoshop), and gaming (I'm not a hardcore gamer, and I don't require everything to be maxed out, so I'm not spending tons of money for that).

By all means, that's why I posted this Very Happy I have been out of hardware for a while. GPU is shitty? I am looking at 256bit and 2GB, haven't looked at the reviews.

Oh and try using the link I provided, since Croatia usually has higher prices :/

Little expensiver due to added CPU cooler, mostly same parts but suits better for locked i5. PSU also is now top notch, better case aswell, swapped also AMD gpu to 750Ti which is very nice for your needs.

I would also recommend GTX 750-Ti. Memory bus width doesn't mean much if you don't consider the rest of the architecture, and GTX 750-Ti with 128-bit memory bus is comparable to R7 260X with 256-bit bus (and almost double power consumption, 60 vs 115 W). It's very capable card, also cold and super silent.

Have you considered buying in Hungary? Here people are doing it via some contacts living close to the border, and it ends up cheaper (because they get tax return), even with their fee and home delivery (to anywhere in the country).

Have you tried German websites? http://www.idealo.de is their price comparison website.

http://www.hardwareversand.de does send to Slovenia where I'm located but might send to Croatia as well. Check if you have any payment options available that this store accepts.

Also, if you find an item on idealo.de and click on the listing of hardwareversand.de among the search results it'll open it on the store page with a slight discount, a bit cheaper than just findind it via search on hardwareversand.de itself.

What's the shop you created this rig? Will 450W PSU handle it all? And is the cooler necessary? CPU is locked, and I don't plan on overclocking anyway.

@Guy_Incognito Since we are in EU now, there is no tax return Wink

@paxsali You overdid it with the GFX Very Happy 2400kn is tooo much (€315). If I would swap it with the above mentioned GTX 750 I'll be looking at a more reasonable price Very Happy

@riptide77 I think ordering in Germany would be a lot of hassle, plus I'm still not sure about my payment options.

Hardwareversand is very good: ordered my goods on Tuesday evening at 10pm via Paypal, received them on Friday. Do put some effort in and check if you can order from there, it may pay off.

Site was portio.hr dingo. 450W PSU is more than enough for that system, that PSU could run my setup easily overclocked Smile.

Question: What's better: Seasonic S12G-450 Gold - read that's it's really great, or Seasonic 520W, SS-520GB? Since I don't plan on getting an SLI setup (not in the near future), 450W should be enough?

For that machine, even Chieftec 450W is more than enough.

Just for the comparison, I'm running i5-3350P (similar consumption to your CPU), four sticks of DDR3 at 1.65V, SSD + two hard drives and a GTX 660 (~140 watts compared to ~60 watts of GTX 750-Ti), and for two weeks I was using friend's R9 280X (~250 watts), all of that on a budget Cooler Master 500W (one year old, so definitely not at its prime), and not a single problem.

So I would say a Seasonic is an overkill for your needs.

Saying that Seasonic is overkill Reaction What the fuck... Its quality man, not some chieftec shit. Never skimp up on PSU, you will regret it later. PSU is like the heart of your computer.

I know, I have corsair VX 450W atm, and I'm supper happy with it. I just wonder if the 450W would cut it in the new build. I know Seasonic is like the best PSU manufacturer out there Smile

Corsair CX-430M only costs around 40 euros and got good reviews while a 450watt seasonic costs over 90 euros. and tbh i doubt that seasonic is the best manufacturer Wink

just stick to your old psu. the new system will use less power than your actual build

And get a better GPU, for instance.

So because I cannot find all the parts in one store (-.-"), I've come up with this:

MBO ASROCK Z97-PRO3, socket 1150 689,00 kn
Intel Core i5-4460 3,2Ghz s1150 BOX procesor 1.269,00 kn
Memory KINGSTON 4 GB DDR3, 1866MHz HyperX Fury White, DIMM x2 299,00 kn (598,00 kn for 8GB)
Gigabyte PCI-E Nvidia GTX750 Ti OC 1.079,00 kn
PSU CORSAIR VS550, 550 W 439,00 kn
Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl kućište 799,00 kn
Cooler COOLERMASTER Hyper 212 EVO  241,00 kn

Which totals at 5.114,00 kn (~€670). In this store there is no Seasonic, but Corsair is good PSU.

what is the point in buying overpriced mobo for cpu that can't be overclocked and overpriced pc case and getting shitty 750 ti Laughing
i would get cheaper mobo and case and put more moneyz in to gfx card instead, for 50 euro or wtv money you have there will get you gtx 760 which is significantly faster than 750ti

something like this would be more sensible

Looks good. Only thing i would change is the PSU. not that you need a more powerful PSU for that build but i was thinking if you wanted to upgrade in the future it would be nice to have a 650W or 750W. But other than that it looks a like a decent build.

Not really, it's rather retarded to use Dutch for something like that
It's not like 'which site is that' is a difficult sentence.
I'd have more understanding if he couldn't get something across, but silly things like that... no.

@Mortibus

I like the case :\ It has usb hubs on top, I would really like to have that :\ But true, I can live without that and I could save the extra money for GPU. Altho 760 is a power hog :\

Plus the prices are lower there than here :\
