So, after entering a few threads, suddenly the whole forum is marked as read. Anyone else getting this? This is as annoying as it gets.

I have a pretty opposite problem - the threads I've already seen don't get unmarked... Rolling Eyes

At least there's a fix for THAT. Delete the NFOhump cookie called "forum_t" -- that will allow you to read threads properly without them sticking as unread.

Meh, I can just hit "Mark all topics read", but yeah, something with the cookies is not working perfectly right. Either on mine or the forum's side.

Is this a one-time fix?

It's a temporary fix that lasts a while, anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, but it does work and it's a FUCKTON better than that irritating green mark.

Though I have to say, I've not had the thread sticking issue since I switched back to FF34. It *seems* okay.

I hope you don't use Enhanced Steam because unless you're on the bleeding edge of FF versions or sticking to FF34 as it crashes the entire browser.

Some reports that FF36 worked, some claim it didn't, same with FF37. I'm on FF34 right now and it's nagging me to update to 35.

Yeah. No.

Nah, no enhanced steam here (for now). My main interest is the hump, and if FF is as near as good as pale moon is for the hump then I'll stick with FF for quite a while (I think that I had to maybe clear the forum_t data 1 or 2 times in almost a year).

Great, so FF35 decides to revert only a few of them every ? hours back to "unread" Reaction
I'll try to delete the forum_t but I'm not that hopeful...

I was wondering if there is any way to make the hump not marke everything as read after ip changes. It's annoying when I read the hump on the tramp and once the mobile connects to a different switch or whatever, new ip is assigned and bam, everything is marked as read. The same when I come home and WiFi connects, or I open the hump on my PC

Hello Guys,

Nice to see you got things in-order, and there is no need to go overboard and crawling anything. I'll jump in so that we can get this over with without extra hassle. I'd rather see you put that energy into something more useful for the forum. But do understand that I am personally short on time at the moment so excuse any black-outs, but I'll do the best I can.

Anyway, I'm in-touch with Nalos and Toni and things will get moving now.

done, no need to say thanks Troll Dad
